Bloom’s Taxonomy is a cognitive framework of learning behaviors organized hierarchically in six categories: knowledge, comprehension,application, analysis, evaluation, and synthesis. Bloom’s taxonomy is often used as a helpful tool to create learning objectives that help define and measure the learning experience for both student and instructor.

A course design process that starts with instructors identifying student learning goals and then designing course content and assessments tohelp students achieve these goals. Rather than starting with exams or set textbooks backwards design argues that “one starts with the end—the desired results(goals or standards) and then derives the curriculum from the evidence of learning (performances) called for by the standard and the teaching needed to equip students to perform”

Asynchronous instruction is the idea that students learn similar material at diff erent times and locations. The term is oft en associated with online learning where students complete readings, assignments, or activities at their own pace and at their own chosen time. This approach is particularly useful when students are spread across different time zones or may have limited access to technology.

Information and communication technologies (ICT) is defined as a diverse set of technological tools and resources used to transmit, store, create, share, or exchange information. These technological tools and resources include computers, the Internet (websites, blogs, and emails), live broadcasting technologies (radio, television, and webcasting), recorded broadcasting technologies (podcasting, audio and video players, and storage devices) and telephony (fixed or mobile, satellite, vision/videoconferencing, etc.).

DIKSHA-Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing) is the national infrastructure platform for school education in India used widely across the country by crores of users in 33 languages. DIKSHA has been identified as a Digital Public Good (DPG) by Government of India and architected as a set of building blocks in compliance with principles laid out in NDEAR. DIKSHA platform offers engaging learning material, relevant to the prescribed school curriculum, to teachers, students, and parents.

IVRS is an automated telephony system that interacts with callers, gathers information and routes calls to the appropriate recipients. IVR systems can consist of telephony equipment, software applications, a database and a supporting infrastructure.
