  Summary of Kwok & Svajda-Hardy, 2024
This study looks at how coaching helps new teachers manage classrooms better. It follows first-year teachers who work with experienced coaches. These coaches observe lessons, give feedback, and help teachers use fair and respectful discipline. Over time, teachers become more confident and reduce minor behavior problems.
The study shows that coaching works best when schools support it with time and leadership. Teachers who get regular help are more likely to stay in the job and treat students fairly. Schools should invest in coaching programs to improve classroom climate and reduce unfair discipline.Â
